Sunday not just a big day for the 1st team - Youth Cup Details
Weekly round-upPosted by Martyn Sat, February 21, 2009 16:06:23On Sunday afternoon at 2pm, Celtic take on Motherwell at Fir Park looking to retain their place at the top of the Premier League.
Meanwhile at 1.30pm up at the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness the U19s face a tricky Youth Cup semi final. Winners of this competition a record 9 times, Celtic have not been as impressive this season as in recent years, however in the Youth Cup an 11-0 win over Stranraer was followed up by a 7-0 victory against Cowdenbeath. Inverness will no doubt pose a far greater threat to Celtic's cup dreams.
Both sides now know the prize for a win in tomorrow's tie, a semi final against Rangers at Ibrox Park.

In midweek, the reserves continue their rampage to an eighth consecutive title. They face Hearts in a home match at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium. Once again a number of on form players will try to play their way into the first team as the business end of the season approaches.
